Pack the perfect lunch with these perfect potato soup recipes. From spicy to creamy to meaty, there are so many options!

In the mornings, my two high school-aged kids pack their own lunches. They have for years. Sometimes they make sandwiches. But more often they want something different — something filling but exciting. That’s why on weekends I often will make a pork roast or roasted chicken or something that can be eaten over several days.

When I make more than one something, it’s even better.

One great lunch option for packed lunches is soup. Or rather, soups, stews and chilis. These batch-based dishes can be eaten over multiple meals, by multiple people. They are easy to heat up and pack into a thermos (they always use my trick for keeping soup warm too!). And they are filling.

All good things. All good things.

Seriously, though, that’s exactly what my growing teens need to power them through the day.

Below I have pulled together a list of delightful, satisfying, creative soup recipes that highlight potatoes. I’m drooling over them all — hopefully you will be too.

These perfect potato soup recipes will make excellent lunches. And with so much variety in the recipes, there’s something for every taste preference.

The only question is, which one do you want to try first?
